Preparation for the Florida Bar exam has begun. I have misplaced all of my knitting *intentionally, mind you* so that I can study for the damn test. I have noticed, however, that the lack of connection with any fiber makes me cranky and very fussy. Straps has decided that i need to make socks...but I keep trying to explain to him that I cannot answer questions or highlight information with extremely sharp #0 needles without accidently managing to stab myself in the face. :) Maybe next week...or maybe I will have to starve myself from my very strong fiber diet...until:

It's definitely a Monday!
I have knitting in my bag waiting for me, but....
1. My baby brothers birthday is Saturday and he wants a hat that I stil haven't finished or brought with me,
2. I need to go to the courthouse to do some research for a paper due Wednesday, but it's Veteran's Day, and therefore the courthouse is closed,
3. I have a Summary Judgment due Thursday that hasn't been started,
4. We are prepping for Daddy to get his knee replaced in a week and I cannot decide what to knit for him,
5. I've been up since 5 because my DH decided to close the very squeaky windows before going to work because I moved a chair outside (he thought there was a prowler), and THEN he called at 6 because he forgot if he closed the garage door, and,
6. I'm beginning to panic because finals are around the corner and I am NOT READY,
7. I wanna knit everything in sight becuase it seems to calm me down, however,
8. It is now time to find a new job and/or try to sell all of my crafty type things I make!
9. The bunny is starting to molt and that freaks me out!
10. Poor Noki was stuck on the back porch last nite for 3-4 hours in the cold and tried to scale the screens! He spent the rest of the night and most of this morning snuggled up next to me trying to get warm.
What a Monday.
I want to say thank you to all of the soldiers that go out of their way to make it possible for me to even be doing this right now! I love you all and hope you all get home safely!

Oh, Bother!
Here is is, another day in paradise.
The car wasn't ready as promised, and therefore I missed my first class today while waiting on getting YET ANOTHER rental car.
If only these people were as nice as knitters!
As I sit in the front row, trying to pay attention to my Family Law professor, I am unable to stop thinking about the flamingo ball of Lorna's Laces in my purse that has been skewered by the 4 dpns waiting to whip off a luxurious pair of pink and white socks.
I'm doing my best to resist the urge to cast on right here in the front row. Maybe I can hold out for one more hour!
